Technology plays a pivotal role in simplifying and improving various aspects of human life. Advancements in technology have transformed the way people communicate, travel, and conduct daily activities. In the field of law enforcement, technology has brought about significant changes and challenges for police officers. This study outlines the benefits and drawbacks of modern technological tools and their impact on the duties and responsibilities of law enforcement personnel. A descriptive methodology under the quantitative research design was utilized. The study focused on technological upgrades concerning the police service of Calasiao Municipal Police Station (MPS) in Pangasinan. The researcher gathered the data from sixty-five (65) police officers as the respondents using the survey questionnaire and the collected data were tabulated, analyzed, and interpreted using statistical tools. The respondents adopted hardware and software technologies such as body-worn cameras and the National Police Clearance System as the most adopted technological tools for police service. The challenges encountered by the police officers were concluded that they are unable to use new technological upgrades because of the higher possibility of danger as they are being accountable for their safety using new technological tools with police service, which will also set their colleagues and their officemates. A validated research intervention measure was developed to address and lessen the challenges that were encountered by the Philippine National Police personnel in Calasiao, Pangasinan.
