Fisheries ecosystems and fishing-based livelihoods are subject to climate related variability, including extreme weather events, floods, and droughts. These changes force fishermen to adapt to new conditions, presenting new challenges. This descriptive study, conducted in Binmaley, Pangasinan, examined fishermen’s adaptive capacities to weather changes, focusing on encountered weather factors and coping mechanisms. Data was gathered from 21 respondents using random sampling and a survey questionnaire. Results identified precipitation, wind and water current, and pressure as major weather factors. Adaptation strategies included using weather forecasts, investing in weather resistant gear and building social networks. An information material was developed to improve fishermen’s adaptive responses.
